Eastman Performance Films, LLC (the “Manufacturer”) warrants SunTek paint protection film (hereinafter defined as the “Product(s)”) as set forth herein. This limited warranty is valid only if the Product application was performed by a SunTek dealer or installer (“Dealer”) in the United States or Canada in accordance with Manufacturer’s application procedures and applicable law. In no event whatsoever will Manufacturer be responsible for improper or faulty installation of the Product.

This limited warranty applies only to the Products. The Products are intended and warranted for use only on fully cured OEM (original equipment manufacturer) vehicle painted surfaces. This warranty is automatically void if installed over repainted, aftermarket painted or vinyl surfaces. Vehicle surface repainting is not covered under this warranty. In the event of a warranty claim, the Manufacturer is not responsible for the reapplication of any ceramic coatings. This warranty explicitly does not cover Product installed on non-painted surfaces including but not limited to, headlights, indicator lights, chrome or carbon fiber trim.

This warranty is made solely to the original purchaser and may not be transferred.

Dealers are not authorized to modify or extend this limited warranty in any manner. This Product is to be used only in compliance with all applicable laws. Warranty coverage is invalid if the Product is subjected to abuse, improper care or use of abrasive or unapproved cleaning agents or in the event that any type of non-wax coating or supplemental clear coat, other than ceramic coating, is applied to the Product. The Manufacturer assumes no liability for damage to Product or vehicle resulting from improper installation or care.

The durability and level of hydrophobic property can be influenced by environmental conditions and other variables beyond Manufacturer’s control (e.g., road treatment chemicals and cleaning substances/frequency) and therefore is not covered under warranty. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO DISCLAIMS ANY DAMAGES OR STAINS CAUSED BY OUTSIDE FORCES.

If any Product specified herein fails to conform to the limited warranty during the warranty period, the purchaser may obtain replacement Product, as well as removal of non-conforming Product and installation of replacement Product, at no charge to the purchaser, at any SunTek Dealer anywhere in the United States or Canada, per the warranty coverage stated herein.

The obligations of the Manufacturer under this warranty are limited to the remedies set forth herein. Proof of purchase and completed warranty registration card will be required by the Dealer to substantiate any warranty claim. Do not mail this warranty registration card; it is for purchaser to retain with the original receipt. Dealer must complete all of the information on such card.

RECOMMENDED CARE FOR SUNTEK® PAINT PROTECTION FILM

For maximum performance of the Product, it is recommended that care consistent with the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications for the exterior surfaces be followed. In addition:

  1. To maintain the life and looks of SunTek® PPF and to maintain warranty coverage, do not wash or wax vehicle for a minimum of 3 days following Product installation. If average daily temperature falls below 55 °F, do not wash or wax vehicle for a minimum of 7 days following Product installation.
  2. Following this period, periodic washing and waxing is recommended. Hand wash with soap and water.
    Wax once or twice a year with a non-abrasive wax for added protection and to maintain gloss.
  3. To prevent lifting, avoid automatic car washes and spraying the Product edges with a high pressure nozzle hose, high powered pressure steam or a power washer.

The Product may take up to 30 days to fully cure and during this period there may be some haze and condensation.

Register your warranty or inspection
This warranty outlines the coverage offered in the US and Canada. Warranties in all other countries may have different coverages, durations, and terms.

Warranty Terms
Coverage
Trinity Global Products warrants that with the proper application of X180+ Paint Protection by a Trinity Global Products approved installer, your vehicle’s paint finish will remain protected against:

– Oxidation
– Loss of gloss
– UV Damage
– Acid rain
– Paint chalking

If any treated paint is shown to be adversely affected from exposure to these conditions or through normal use, as evidenced by a visible loss of paint gloss and providing that all of the terms of this warranty have been met, then such conditions will be remedied free of charge by Trinity Global Products, regional distributor and/or its authorized installers, who reserve the right to attempt repairs through professional surface reconditioning/polishing before repainting the damaged area.

Applicable Vehicles and Period of Coverage
Coverage terms up to Lifetime, when annual service requirements are met. (See: Annual Inspection). Failure to undertake an annual service will irreversibly terminate the warranty.

General Conditions
Warranty coverage is only valid if the Approved Applicator has issued a Warranty Card and it has been registered within 30 days of application.
The vehicle must remain registered, for the entire duration of the warranty, for legal non-commercial road use.
Only vehicles registered as passenger vehicles will be warrantied. Commercial vehicles of any kind will not be covered.
Vehicles over 3 months old are required to have a machine polishing carried out by an approved applicator prior to application. Newer vehicles may also require a machine polish if advised by the approved applicator.
In the event of damage/repair to the surface (i.e. accident repair) the vehicle must be taken to an approved applicator for retreatment to the repaired area, at the owner’s expense, within 30 days.
Warranty is registered in the name of the vehicle owner and cannot be transferred.
Should a product reapplication be required (e.g. vehicle accident) you or your insurer are liable for a reapplication fee, determined by the approved applicator.
The vehicle exterior paintwork must be maintained and washed regularly, to Trinity Global Products’ recommendations, to prevent contamination build-up (bi-weekly). After washing, ensure that no water is left to dry on the coated surface, particularly within the first two (2) weeks after installation. In the event that your vehicle is exposed to high mineral-content water (“hard” or “soft” water) like that from some automated car washes, sprinkler systems, or tap water in some areas, then all coated areas need to be dried as soon as possible with a microfiber cloth. Any water that is left to dry may form visible ringlets, which should be wiped off with vinegar until the mineral deposit is removed, as soon as possible.
Successful registration must have been completed with true and accurate data, and a confirmation number must be saved.

Exclusions
Where the owner has been careless, negligent, or failed to maintain the exterior painted surface in the correct manner.
Pre-existing damage to the painted surface or any other treated part of substandard specification, materials, or workmanship by the vehicle manufacturer, their dealership, third-party supplier or modifier, or professional detailers not authorized by Trinity Global Products.
Damage to the coated surface by incorrect manual wash techniques, automatic car washes, brushes, or contaminated wash tools that may cause abrasion or damage caused by a third party not authorized by Trinity Global Products.
Swirl marks, marring, scratches, scuffs, scrapes, chips to the painted surface.
Water spots – Water spots are caused by hard water (mineral deposits), which when left to dry on the paint may leave a stain; water spotting is not covered.
Failed Clear Coat – Peeling, hazing, and fading or any claim for matters which are covered by vehicle manufacturers’ warranty.
Damage caused by collision, accidental damage, vandalism, malicious damage, fire, hail, flood, stones, collision, surface rust, rail dust, physical damage, paint overspray, water etch, or vehicle manufacturer defects, or defects which may be covered under a manufacturer’s or dealership’s protection plan.
Areas that have not been retreated after a paint repair.
Any loss of time or use of the vehicle while it undergoes inspections or treatments.
Touch-less car washes only. Never use a car wash with brushes.

Annual Inspections
Annual Inspections must be carried out by an approved applicator, within 30 days before or after the anniversary date of the last service to maintain the warranty.
Failure to undertake an annual inspection within the required period will void the warranty.
A fee determined by the approved applicator will be charged for the Annual Inspection, which includes – Exterior Wash, Decontamination, Crystal or Topcoat, and Inspection.
Annual inspections must be recorded within 30 days on www.x180.co

Limit of Liability (Claims)
Damage that may be covered under this warranty must be made aware to an approved applicator within 30 days; failure to comply will result in the warranty being terminated.
Claim determination is at the sole discretion of Trinity Global Products, either approving the repair/retreatment by an approved applicator or refunding the application cost to the vehicle owner at a maximum of $1000 and terminating the warranty, whichever is less.
Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of Litchfield County, Connecticut, USA. The involved parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of that State.
Email reminders for annual inspections are a courtesy and not receiving one is not an acceptable reason for missing your inspection.

Definitions
Approved Applicator – An independently owned and operated business/company that has been approved by Trinity Global Products or authorized distributor to apply Trinity Global Products products.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty Information KAVACA® Window Films 1.1 Warranty Coverage: Ceramic Pro (“CP”) warrants all KAVACA window film against adhesive failure, bubbling, cracking/crazing, delamination, peeling, or other manufacturer’s defect; provided and on the condition that the Products were properly sold and installed on an appropriate automobile glass surface by an authorized dealer by all recommended installation procedures, and subject to the conditions described below in the “Not Covered by Warranty” section 6. 1.2 Additional Warranty for Certain Products: CP also warrants KAVACA Ceramic IR and Carbon CS products against excessive or unusual change of color, for the period of the applicable warranty coverage. 1.3 Covered Persons/Companies: This warranty is provided and applies only to (1) independent window film dealer who purchased the Product from CP or a CP distributor; (2) the registered owner of the automobile at the time the Product was installed; and (3) subsequent purchaser of the automobile, who properly transfers the warranty following the process referenced below in section 9. This is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by CP to the persons and entities described above for the Products purchased. 1.4 Warranty Period: This warranty coverage begins on the date the Product was installed and extends for the period the original registered owner owns the automobile. Also, in the case of a valid transfer of the warranty to a subsequent purchaser under CP’s terms, the warranty coverage extends only for five (5) years from the date of the original Product installation. This warranty terminates upon any sale of the automobile unless the warranty is transferred as provided below. 1.5 Not Covered by Warranty: This warranty is voided by, and CP does not cover and hereby disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, expense, or cost, resulting from any one or more of the following: 1. Installation of the Product (whether or not (i) performed by dealer; or (ii) the installer is “Certified” by CP); or 2. Improper product care, maintenance, or cleaning; or 3. Product abuse; or 4. Glass breakage; or 5. Non-automotive applications and/or non-complying film uses; or 6. Any other acts, occurrences, defects, faults, or damages not caused by CP. THIS WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO PRODUCT INSTALLED IN NORTH AMERICA This Product is to be used in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, rules, regulations, and ordinances (“Laws”) of the applicable country, state, province, or local jurisdiction including, without limitation, tinted window laws. *FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH SUCH LAWS VOIDS THE WARRANTY. IT IS THE AUTOMOBILE’S OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE LAWS. 1.6 Limitations: THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY CP FOR THE PRODUCT PURCHASED. THIS WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN PLACE OF, AND SUPERSEDES AND REPLACES, ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND/OR AGREEMENTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ALL WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY LAW, SUCH AS THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT OF ANY DEFECT IN, OR FAILURE OF, THE PRODUCT, OR IN THE EVENT THE PRODUCT FAILS TO PERFORM AS REPRESENTED OR EXPECTED, CP’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION IS TO PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT PRODUCT AND PAY FOR REPLACEMENT LABOR; SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS OUTLINED IN THIS WARRANTY; PROVIDED, THAT IF THE SAME PRODUCT IS NOT AVAILABLE CP MAY REPLACE WITH A SIMILAR PRODUCT AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION. IN NO EVENT SHALL CP BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OTHER COSTS, ATTORNEY’S FEES, EXPENSES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES (REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY ARE DEEMED TO BE DIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL) THAT ARE IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE PRODUCT OR ANY FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT TO PERFORM AS REPRESENTED OR EXPECTED AND WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT PRODUCTS LIABILITY, TORT, OR OTHERWISE. CP DOES NOT ASSUME LIABILITY FOR ANY WARRANTY, LOSS, OR DAMAGE OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. CP IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES OR DAMAGES RELATED TO OR INVOLVING GLASS BREAKAGE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. CP will provide replacement film and reasonable labor charges not to exceed the combined amount of the Product price and installation cost as stated on the original invoice. Payment of labor for partial window film replacement will be prorated based on the amount of defective film replaced and the amount charged for installation as stated in the original invoice. CP’s total liability, whether for breach of contract, warranty, negligence, strict products liability, or commission of any other tort, violation of any statute, regulation, or ordinance, or otherwise, is limited to the purchase price of the particular product sold under this warranty as stated on the original invoice. If it is necessary to replace defective film, any such replacement will not extend the duration of this warranty coverage. CP reserves the right to approve the warranty repair service provider who will perform the warranty claim service. All warranty claim payments will be made to the warranty repair service provider who has been authorized by CP to perform the warranty service according to the terms of this warranty. Oral or written statements by any party other than in this warranty should not be relied upon by you, and are not part of this warranty. NO OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY, INCLUDING THE DEALER, HAS ANY AUTHORITY OR POWER TO MODIFY OR EXTEND THIS WARRANTY. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CAN ONLY BE MODIFIED BY A WRITTEN AGREEMENT SIGNED BY AN OFFICER OF CP. 1.7 Customer And Dealer Please Note: The warranty card and online warranty registration must be completed by the dealer (and the customer) at the time of installation of the Product to make a warranty claim at a later date. To make a warranty service claim, it is required that the following steps be followed: 1. Contact your original installing dealer to initiate a warranty service claim.  2. To process a warranty claim, a Ceramic Pro dealer must receive the following warranty claim support materials: a. A copy of this fully completed Warranty agreement. b. Proof of purchase from the installing dealer. This information is best provided by keeping a copy of your proof of purchase invoice attached to your warranty agreement. 3. Upon completion of the warranty repair service, the customer will be required to sign a warranty repair claim form. This form will enable the dealer to be reimbursed for the warranty repair service. 4. All warranty claim payments will be made to the warranty repair service provider who has been approved in advance by CP to perform the warranty service under the terms of this warranty. 5. All warranty repair service claims must be submitted to CP by the authorized warranty repair service provider within forty-five (45) days of completion of the warranty work. For warranty claims greater than $2,500.00, the authorized warranty repair service provider must obtain written pre-approval from CP before beginning the warranty repair service.

Our team will take care of the rest, ensuring your vehicle’s windows are restored to their optimal condition. Proof of Purchase: For installations performed by Prestige Auto Appearance, no additional proof of purchase is necessary. Just contact us, and we’ll handle the warranty claim process seamlessly. Exclusions: There are no exclusions to our Non-Fault warranty. We’re committed to ensuring your satisfaction and protecting your investment in our services. Transferability: The Non-Fault warranty applies to the current owner of the vehicle. However, if your vehicle was part of the Elite Armor Package, which includes additional benefits, such as transferability of the warranty to a new owner, providing added value and peace of mind.
